Clinical Intern

About Patrick

Patrick is a Master of Social Work student at George Mason University who focuses on supporting teens and young adults. He creates a safe, approachable, and collaborative space where clients can be themselves while exploring emotions, building coping skills, and navigating life’s challenges.

Approach to Therapy

Patrick blends relational and skills-based strategies, meeting clients where they are. He emphasizes empowerment, resilience, and self-understanding, ensuring that therapy feels both safe and supportive while helping clients strengthen confidence in handling stress, relationships, and everyday challenges.

Experience at Good Company

During his internship, Patrick meets with individual clients and co-facilitates both a DBT Skills group and an evening trauma group. He brings energy, humor, and teamwork to sessions, helping clients feel comfortable, seen, and heard. Patrick offers a limited number of sliding scale spots for the 2025/2026 academic year. Patrick is supervised by Maddison Pezzelle.

Outside of Work

Patrick enjoys basketball, spending time with friends and family, and bringing that same sense of energy and playfulness into his sessions. He believes that showing up authentically is an important part of the therapeutic process.
