What We’ll Work On Together
This DBT-informed group is built around practical, evidence-based skills that are personalized to your nervous system. Whether you’re navigating perfectionism, burnout, or emotional overwhelm, you’ll leave with tools you can actually use.
In this group, we will:
- Build a mindfulness practice personal to you
- Address distress and learn to tolerate it effectively
- Explore tricky emotions and find regulation
- Support you in improving relationships

Virtual (Zoom) Tuesdays, 5-6:30 pm
Location
Online Accessible from anywhere in DC, Maryland, or Virginia
Group Size
6–10 participants (small and confidential)
Cost
If not covered by insurance, then Intake Session: $235 Group Sessions: $90
Insurance
- In network: In network: BCBS (FEP, Anthem, CareFirst) and Sentara Commercial Plans
- Not in network: Medicaid, Medicare, or Tricare plans
- We partner with Thrizer to help facilitate out-of-network reimbursement for other commercial insurance plans.
Who Should Join DBT Skills Group Therapy?
This group is ideal for adults (18+) who:
- Are currently in individual therapy or open to starting individual therapy
- Feel emotionally reactive or out of control
- Struggle with mood instability, impulsivity, or relationship conflict
- Experience self-harm urges or harmful coping patterns
- Want to build healthy coping strategies for anxiety, depression, or trauma
- May or may not have a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
No formal BPD diagnosis is required. If you’re emotionally struggling, you’re welcome here.
