Finding Community While Supporting a Partner with Dissociative Identity Disorder

When a loved one is diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), the focus often shifts entirely toward their healing journey. But as a loved one, your experience matters, too. Navigating the complexities of DID within a relationship can feel isolating, and finding a community that truly understands the day-to-day reality of a dissociative system is rare.

At Good Company Therapy Group, we believe that healing happens in community. This virtual support group offers a safe, non-judgmental environment for spouses and partners to connect with others who truly “get it.” Under the guidance of a clinician experienced in treating dissociative disorders, you’ll find a space to catch your breath and receive the validation you need to sustain your own well-being.

About the Group: Support for the Supporter

This is a weekly virtual support group where we shift the lens back to you. While we discuss the nuances of DID, the primary focus is on how to support your own mental health while navigating your loved one’s healing process.

Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis or have been on this path for years, our facilitators provide a trauma-informed space where you can be seen, heard, and held in your own right.
