About Andrew
Andrew Hernandez (he/him) is a Licensed Master Social Worker committed to creating a safe, client-centered space where individuals can explore challenges, understand emotional responses, and develop practical coping strategies. He believes in blending empathy with humor to foster connection and authenticity in therapy.
Approach to Therapy
Andrew integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and mindfulness-based techniques. He also uses experiential approaches to meet clients’ unique needs and comfort levels. Andrew supports clients in building emotional regulation, self-understanding, and resilience across a variety of concerns, including personality disorders, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, Complex PTSD, and dissociative disorders.
Education and Training
Andrew earned his Master of Social Work from Walden University, completing an advanced clinical program specializing in trauma. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, which he uses to inform his understanding of behavior and decision-making. Andrew is currently working and training under the clinical supervision of Christina Tosto.

Andrew has worked in school settings and intensive PHP/IOP environments, facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. His broad experience allows him to provide tailored, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care for diverse clients across age groups and life challenges.
