About Emma

Emma Dabolt (she/they) is a Licensed Master Social Worker who creates a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore strengths, address challenges, and develop insight. Emma works collaboratively, honoring each client’s unique perspective while guiding them toward growth and self-understanding.

Approach to Therapy

Emma blends relational, psychodynamic, and practical therapeutic approaches with trauma-informed care. She helps adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, mood instability, emotional regulation, and relationship difficulties—including those in non-traditional relationship structures (e.g., ENM, Poly).

Education and Training

Emma earned her Master of Social Work from George Mason University. She has experience in non-profit organizations, which gave her a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and understanding the impact of trauma across diverse populations. Emma has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. Emma is currently working and training under the clinical supervision of Meira Ellias.

Professional Experience

Emma has worked with adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. She is committed to creating an affirming and supportive therapeutic space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, develop skills, and strengthen resilience. Emma is currently one of the facilitators of our DBT Skills Group.
